Amad Diallo, born on July 11, 2002, is a talented football player from Ivory Coast. He is often called just Amad. He plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for Manchester United, a famous English club. He also plays for his country's national team, Ivory Coast. Amad is a very flexible player and can even play as a wing-back.
Amad was born in Ivory Coast but moved to Italy when he was young. He started playing football in the youth teams at Atalanta in 2015. There, he helped his team win two big youth championships. In 2019, he scored a goal in his very first game for Atalanta's main team. In January 2021, Amad joined Manchester United. He also played on loan for Rangers and Sunderland. Amad was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He moved to Italy when he was a child. He began his football journey at a youth team called Boca Barco in September 2014. He quickly showed his talent at a Christmas tournament that same year. Amad was the top goal scorer in the tournament, even though he was the youngest player there. Youth Team Success (2015–2020)
Many top Italian clubs were interested in Amad when he was at Boca Barco. He decided to join Atalanta in 2015. He started with the under-14 team in the 2015–16 season. Amad quickly moved up to the under-15 team. He played in the Final Eight tournament and scored a goal in the final against Roma. This helped his team win the league title.
In the 2016–17 season, he continued with the under-15 side. Then, in 2017–18, he moved to the under-17 team. He scored 12 goals in 27 games for them. First Season (2020–21)

On October 5, 2020, Manchester United agreed to sign Amad. He officially joined the club on January 7, 2021. He signed a five-year contract.
Amad scored two goals in his first game for Manchester United's Under-23 team. This was in a 6–3 win against Liverpool on January 30. He was first called up to the senior team on February 9. He made his first-team debut for United on February 18. This was as a substitute in a 4–0 win against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League. His first goal for United came on March 11. It was in a 1–1 draw against AC Milan in the Europa League.
On May 11, Amad played his first Premier League game against Leicester City. He assisted a goal scored by Mason Greenwood. Loan Spells (2022–23)

Recent Season (2024–25)
After Erik ten Hag left as manager, Amad started getting more chances to play. This was first under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, and then under head coach Ruben Amorim. On November 7, Amad scored two goals in a 2–0 win against PAOK in the UEFA Europa League. On November 24, 2024, he started as a wing-back in Amorim's first match against Ipswich Town.
