Armaan Malik (born 22 July 1995) is a popular Indian singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is known for singing in many different Indian languages. He also does voice-overs and acts. Armaan is the brother of music composer Amaal Mallik. He has worked with big music companies like Arista Records and also has his own record label called Always Music Global. His first time on screen was in the movie Kaccha Limboo in 2011.

Early Life
Armaan Malik was born in Mumbai on July 22, 1995. His father, Daboo Malik, is a musician, and his older brother, Amaal Malik, is also a well-known musician. Music runs in his family!
Career Highlights
Starting Out (2006-2008)
Armaan started singing when he was just 4 years old. He even took part in a singing competition called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs in 2006. He also spent 10 years learning Indian classical music. Armaan first sang in a Bollywood movie in 2007. It was the song "Bum Bum Bole" from Taare Zameen Par.
He also used his voice for other projects. He dubbed for an English boy in the movie My Name Is Khan. He also voiced the character Salim for the radio version of Slumdog Millionaire on BBC Radio 1.
Becoming a Playback Singer (2009-2019)
In 2014, Armaan became a playback singer for Hindi movies. A playback singer sings songs that actors lip-sync to on screen. His first song was "Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha" in the movie Jai Ho. He sang two more songs in that movie. In the same year, he released his first music album, simply called Armaan.
He sang many popular songs in the following years. In 2015, he sang "Main Hoon Hero Tera" for Hero and "Tumhe Aapna Banane Ka" for Hate Story 3. He also released a very popular single called "Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon". Because of his amazing new music, he won the Filmfare R. D. Burman Award for New Music Talent.
In 2016, Armaan sang for many films, including "Sab Tera" for Baaghi with Shraddha Kapoor. He was also the main singer for the film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, singing four songs in Hindi and three in Tamil. He even sang his first Bengali song, "Dhitang Dhitang".
In 2019, Armaan became a coach on the Indian TV show The Voice. This made him the youngest Indian singer to be a coach on the show! He also voiced the main character, Aladdin, in the Hindi version of Disney's live-action movie Aladdin. He also sang songs for the Hindi version of The Lion King.
English Songs and More (2020-Present)
On March 12, 2020, Armaan signed with Arista Records. This led to him releasing his first English song, "Control," on March 20, 2020. "Control" was a big hit and won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Indian Act in 2020. It was even certified platinum in India!
Later in 2020, Armaan became the first artist to reach No. 1 on the Top Triller Global Billboard charts twice. He then released his second English song, "How Many," which included an Indian tabla drum. He said it was a bit scary to start making English songs and introduce himself to the global music world.
He continued to sing for many Indian films, including Darbar (2020), Saina (2021), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022). In 2021, he was part of a special song called "Meri Pukaar Suno" with famous singers like A. R. Rahman. In 2022, his English song "You" won him another Best India Act award at the MTV Europe Music Awards. He also worked with famous singer Ed Sheeran on a remix of his song "2step".
Personal Life
On August 28, 2023, Armaan Malik shared the happy news that he was engaged to his girlfriend, Aashna Shroff. They had been together for six years. On December 28, 2024, Armaan and Aashna Shroff got married in a private ceremony.
