What the Chinese Flowering Apple Looks Like

The Chinese flowering apple tree has lovely flowers. These flowers can be white or pink, depending on the specific type of tree.
After the flowers, the tree grows small, round fruits. These fruits are yellow and are usually about 2 centimeters (less than an inch) wide.
People often plant Malus spectabilis as an ornamental tree. This means it's grown because it looks pretty, especially when it's covered in flowers. It is very popular in China for its beauty.
