Avusy is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland. It's a peaceful place in the countryside.

Avusy has a long history! We first hear about it way back in 1260. Back then, it was known as Avussie.

Avusy is located in the countryside, just outside the city of Geneva. It includes several small villages. These are Avusy-Village, Athenaz, Sézegnin, and the tiny settlement of Champlong.

There was once a settlement called Seingier between the 13th and 15th centuries. But it has since disappeared.
