The Pepsi Center is a large sports arena located in Denver, Colorado. It opened its doors on October 1, 1999. This exciting venue is home to several professional sports teams.
It is where the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL) play their ice hockey games. The Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) also play their basketball games here. Plus, the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) call it home for their lacrosse matches.
The company PepsiCo currently has the naming rights for the arena. This means the building is named after them. The arena can hold many fans. It seats about 19,155 people for basketball games. For hockey and lacrosse games, it can seat around 18,007 people.
