Music Career
2013–2015: First Albums
In 2013, a year after The X Factor, Miller signed a record deal with Syco Music and Hollywood Records. She started releasing music under the name Bea Miller.
Her first EP, Young Blood, was released in 2014. The title song became a hit and won a Radio Disney Music Award. The EP did very well, reaching number 2 on the iTunes pop chart. Because of her success, she was chosen to be an opening act for Demi Lovato's world tour.
In 2015, Miller released her first full-length album, Not an Apology. It reached number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, which was a huge achievement. That summer, she toured with the girl group Fifth Harmony.
2016–2018: Aurora and Collaborations
In 2016, Miller joined Selena Gomez on her Revival Tour as an opening act. The next year, she tried something new. She released her music in three parts, called "chapters." These were EPs named Chapter One: Blue, Chapter Two: Red, and Chapter Three: Yellow.
In 2018, she combined all the songs from the three EPs with five new songs to create her second album, Aurora. One of the most talked-about songs from the album was "S.L.U.T.". Miller explained that she wanted to turn a negative word into a positive one, making it stand for "Sweet Little Unforgettable Thing."
That same year, she was the singer on the song "I Wanna Know" by the group NOTD. The song became a massive international hit.
2019–Present: Touring and New Music
In 2019, Miller went on her first headlining tour, called the "Nice To Meet U Tour." She released several popular singles, including "It's Not U It's Me" with 6lack and "Feel Something".
In November 2019, she released the single "That ..." on her own. The song "Feel Something" became very popular on social media, which led to her releasing a new EP called Elated! in October 2020.
Miller also provided the voice for the character Evelynn in the virtual music group K/DA, from the video game League of Legends. She sang on their track "The Baddest". In 2021, her song "Playground" was featured in the popular animated series Arcane.
In 2023, Miller started her own record label, Gauche Records, and released the single "Lonely ...".
