Beurnevésin is a small village in Switzerland. It used to be its own town, called a municipality. It is located in the Porrentruy district, which is part of the Jura canton. Switzerland has many cantons, like states or provinces.

Beurnevésin was first written about in the year 1270. Back then, it was known as Brunnevisin. It also had a German name, Brischwiler, but that name is not used anymore.

On January 1, 2024, Beurnevésin joined with another village called Bonfol. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality named Basse-Vendline.

Beurnevésin is located in the north-eastern part of the Ajoie region. This area is known for its rolling hills and green landscapes.

The village covers an area of about 5.1 square kilometers (2 square miles). A big part of this land, about 55.6%, is used for farming. This means there are lots of fields for crops and pastures for animals.

Forests cover a large portion too, about 38.7% of the area. The remaining land is where buildings and roads are, or it's covered by rivers.
