Plot
After their wedding, Rachel and Sam look for new jobs. The Langham Hotel offers them jobs as a landscaper and a chef. This means they can live in the hotel! Sam and Rachel bring their dogs, Chloe and Papi, to the hotel.
At the hotel, Chloe and Papi meet Oscar and Jenny. They are the teachers at the hotel's Doggy Day School. Papi is not happy because he won't be teaching his pups anymore. The hotel manager, Mr. Hollis, asks Chloe to make appearances. This is because a new rival hotel, owned by Montague, is a threat. Because of this, Sam and Rachel get the jobs.
Rosa, one of Papi and Chloe's puppies, is also not happy about Doggy Day School. Pedro, Papi's friend, comes along too. Everyone is amazed by their luxurious hotel room. But Rosa is nervous about school. Papi comforts her. He tells her about a special party called a Quinceañera. This is a celebration for a girl's fifteenth birthday.
The next day, Rachel and Sam start their new jobs. The puppies go to school. Rosa is bullied by a bigger dog. He teases her about wearing special "swimmies." Rosa gets upset and runs off. The other puppies get back at the bully dog.
Papi finds Sam and tries to help him with his work. Papi then hears a sound in the garden. He finds a messy garden and meets a stray dog named Arnie. Oscar, the doggy day school teacher, arrives. Jenny quickly leaves, not wanting to be seen. Papi worries about his pups' safety. He asks Oscar what is going on, but Oscar doesn't say much. Arnie tries to warn Papi by making a carving of Jenny. But Papi doesn't understand it.
Back home, Rosa pretends to be sick to avoid school. When Papi says she'll have to go to the vet, she suddenly feels better! She says she doesn't want to be little anymore. She wants to have a Quinceañera. The other pups want a "sweet sixteen" party. But Rosa insists on a Quince. Papi promises to throw her one.
An old friend, Sebastian, arrives to help plan the party. Papi is very busy and worried. He starts to suspect Jenny and Oscar are planning something. Rosa also saves a dog named Charlotte, who is a special guest at the hotel. Papi, Pedro, and Arnie decide to get help from Delgado. They want to catch Jenny and Oscar and prepare for Rosa's Quince.
The next day, Papi, Pedro, and Arnie are watching Jenny. Jenny trips and falls into a pit of peanut butter. Pedro calls the other dogs, saying there's free peanut butter. The hotel manager hears the noise. Papi tells Pedro to open the gate. Delgado appears with Montague, the rival hotel manager, hanging upside down! Chloe is confused and apologizes to Papi.
Later, Chloe and Papi wake up Rosa. They have special Quince outfits for her and her siblings. As the Quince party begins, Ali, one of the pups, reveals she told everyone about Rosa saving Charlotte. Jenny and Oscar are arrested. Papi becomes the new teacher at the doggy day care.
