Madison Michelle Pettis (born July 22, 1998) is a talented American actress. You might know her from her roles as Sophie Martinez in the Disney Channel comedy series Cory in the House. She also played Peyton Kelly in the 2007 movie The Game Plan, and Allie Brooks in the 2011 Canadian comedy series Life with Boys.

Early Life

Madison Michelle Pettis was born on July 22, 1998, in Arlington, Texas. Her father is African American, and her mother has Italian, Irish, and French family roots. Madison has an older brother named Steven Jr.

Acting Career

Madison Pettis first got noticed when her mother entered her in a contest for a local parenting magazine. Early in her career, Madison appeared on Barney & Friends in 2005 and 2006. On the show, she sang, danced, and acted as the character Bridget.

First Big Roles

In 2006, Madison won her first major role. She was cast as Peyton Kelly in the 2007 Disney movie The Game Plan. In this film, she played the long-lost daughter of Dwayne Johnson's quarterback character.

In 2007, Madison was cast as Bailey Bryant in the 2008 film Free Style. She played the sister of Corbin Bleu's character. In 2008, she had a small voice role in Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!. She also appeared in A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa. Madison also had a small role as Lorena in the 2008 Will Smith movie Seven Pounds.

Starring in Mostly Ghostly

Pettis starred in the 2008 direct-to-video movie Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out?. She played the ghost character Tara Roland. She later returned to this role in the 2014 sequel, Mostly Ghostly: Have You Met My Ghoulfriend?.

Disney Channel and Voice Acting

Madison Pettis starred in Cory in the House as Sophie, who was the president's daughter. She even appeared in one episode of Hannah Montana playing the same role. She also played a younger Isabelle Tyler in an episode of The 4400.

In 2007, she was a commentator for the Disney Channel Games. She also had a voice role in the Disney Channel animated series Special Agent Oso. In 2009, Madison appeared as herself on the game show Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?.

In 2011, Madison got two main roles. She became the voice of Izzy on the animated series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She also played Allie Brooks on the Canadian television series Life with Boys. In 2012, she started a recurring role on the Disney XD series Lab Rats.

On October 19, 2014, Madison shared on Facebook that she would be a guest star in The Fosters. In 2015, she was cast in a voice role for the Disney Channel animated series The Lion Guard. She also voiced a character in its TV movie, The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar.
