Early Life and Music
Gonzalo Conde was born in Ramos Mejía, Argentina, on August 29, 1998. From a young age, he loved music. He was especially interested in electronic music and DJs, not so much in singing. Some of his favorite artists were Skrillex, David Guetta, and Martin Garrix. When he was 14, Gonzalo started learning music theory and taking piano lessons. This is when he began to create his very first songs.
Music Career
Bizarrap's music journey began in 2017. He started by making "Combos Locos," which were mixes of exciting moments from local freestyle rap battles. This helped him meet other artists like Lit Killah and Duki. He began remixing their songs. His first big success came from a remix of a song by Duki called "No Vendo Trap."
After this, more artists asked him to remix their music. These included Dani, Ecko, Paulo Londra, and Khea. On November 17, 2018, he released his first "Freestyle Session" with Kodigo. Soon, other artists joined in. In February 2019, the "Music Sessions" started with Bhavi. Throughout 2019, he worked with many artists from Argentina, like Nicki Nicole and Trueno. He also collaborated with artists from other countries, such as Mexican rapper Alemán.
Big Hits and Awards
In 2020, Bizarrap worked with Argentine singer Nathy Peluso on "session 36." This song became very popular. It reached number 4 on the Argentina Hot 100 chart. It was also his first song to appear on an American music chart. By December 2020, Bizarrap was the most listened-to Argentine artist and producer worldwide. He had over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The next year, Bizarrap continued to have great success. His "session 38" with L-Gante became the number one song in Argentina. His "session 41" with Nicky Jam also did very well. In 2021, Bizarrap started getting many awards. He received five nominations at the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards. He was nominated for "Best New Artist" and "Producer of the Year." In Argentina, he won two awards at the 23rd Annual Gardel Awards.
In July 2022, Bizarrap released "session 52" with Spanish rapper Quevedo. This song was a huge hit. It topped the music charts in many countries, including Argentina and Spain. It also reached number one on the Billboard Global 200 chart. This was Bizarrap's first song to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. Later that year, he released "session 53" with Colombian singer Shakira. This song was also incredibly successful. It reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also broke several Guinness World Records for a Latin song. These records were for the most views on YouTube and streams on Spotify in a short time.
