Boulens is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It's found in the Gros-de-Vaud area, which is part of the canton of Vaud. Switzerland is a country in Europe known for its mountains and beautiful landscapes.

Boulens has a long history. It was first mentioned in old records way back in 1142. At that time, its name was written as Bollens. A few years later, in 1177, it was called Boslens. This shows how the name of the town has changed over time.
