Briean Boddy-Calhoun (born January 21, 1993) is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Minnesota. He first joined the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016. He also played for the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans.

Early Life and High School Sports
Briean Boddy-Calhoun grew up playing many sports. He went to Delcastle Technical High School in Delaware. There, he was a star in high school football.
Football Achievements
As a junior, he was a top defensive back. He was named first-team all-conference and third-team all-state. In his senior year, he was even better. He earned first-team all-state honors as a defensive back. He was also a second-team all-state kick returner. He played quarterback too, earning honorable mention all-conference three times.
Other Sports Talents
Briean was not just good at football. He was also great at track & field. He earned all-state honors as a high jumper. In basketball, he was a point guard. He was named all-conference twice for his skills on the court.
College Football Journey
After high school, Briean continued his football career. He played for two different colleges.
Playing at Coffeyville Community College
Briean first went to Coffeyville Community College. This is a type of college where students can start their studies. He played football there for one season. He was named second-team All-Jayhawk Conference as a cornerback. He was also named Defensive Player of the Week twice. He even earned Special Teams Player of the Week once. During his time there, he made 40 tackles. He also caught four interceptions and recovered three fumbles. He even blocked a kick!
Moving to the University of Minnesota
After one year, Briean transferred to the University of Minnesota. In his first year there, he played in all 13 games. He was a reserve player, meaning he came off the bench. He made nine tackles that season.
Dealing with an Injury
In his junior year, Briean faced a challenge. He got a serious knee injury in the second game. This injury ended his season early. The NCAA gave him a medical redshirt. This meant he could get an extra year to play college football. Before his injury, he had three tackles and an interception against UNLV.
Strong Comeback Season
Briean came back strong in his redshirt junior year. He played in 13 games and started 10 of them. He had a great season with 51 tackles. He also made five interceptions. Starting with the Jacksonville Jaguars
On May 1, 2016, Briean signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He joined them as an undrafted free agent. This means he wasn't drafted but was signed by a team. However, he was released by the Jaguars before the regular season started.
Time with the Cleveland Browns
Just one day after leaving the Jaguars, Briean was picked up by the Cleveland Browns. He made his first NFL game appearance with the Browns. It was against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. In that game, he had six tackles. He also made an interception and ran it back for a touchdown! In his first NFL season (2016), he had 39 tackles. He also made three interceptions and defended 11 passes. He even had one sack.
In 2017, he played in 13 games for the Browns. He recorded 39 tackles and defended six passes. In 2018, he played in all 16 games. He finished that season with 56 tackles and one forced fumble.
Moving to Other Teams
Briean continued his NFL journey with several other teams.
Houston Texans
In 2019, Briean signed with the Houston Texans. He was released before the season but re-signed later. He played in one game for them. In that game, he had two tackles, two pass deflections, a sack, and a forced fumble.
Indianapolis Colts
