Brooklyn Danielle Decker (born April 12, 1987) is an American model and actress. She is well-known for appearing in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was even on the cover of the 2010 issue.

Brooklyn has also worked for Victoria's Secret. She has acted in TV shows like Chuck and Ugly Betty. She also appeared in movies such as Just Go with It (2011) and Battleship (2012). From 2015 to 2022, she played Mallory Hanson in the Netflix series Grace and Frankie.

Early Life and Discovering Modeling

Brooklyn Decker was born in Kettering, Ohio. Her mom, Tessa, was a nurse, and her dad, Stephen, sold pacemakers. She has a younger brother named Jordan.

Her family moved a few times, first to Middletown, Ohio, then to Matthews, North Carolina. Brooklyn went to David W. Butler High School. She was a cheerleader there and was chosen as the senior class president.

Brooklyn was discovered by a modeling scout when she was a teenager. This happened at a shopping mall in Charlotte. She started her modeling career by becoming the face of Mauri Simone, a company that made prom dresses. In 2003, she won the Model of the Year award at a modeling convention.

Brooklyn Decker has made several guest appearances on television shows. She was on NBC's Chuck, playing a model. She also appeared on USA Network's Royal Pains in 2009.

In 2011, Brooklyn got a big role in the movie Battleship. This movie was based on the popular board game. She played Samantha Shane, an Admiral's daughter who was a physical therapist.
