Brooklyn Decker was born on April 12, 1987, in Kettering, Ohio. Her mom, Tessa, was a nurse, and her dad, Stephen, was a salesman. She has a younger brother named Jordan. Her family moved a few times, first to Middletown, Ohio, and then to Matthews, North Carolina. She finished high school at David W. Butler High School.
When she was a teenager, Brooklyn was discovered in a shopping mall in Charlotte. She started her modeling career by becoming the face of Mauri Simone, a company that makes prom dresses. In 2003, she won the Model of the Year award at a modeling convention.

Personal Life
Brooklyn Decker started dating American tennis player Andy Roddick in 2007. They got engaged in March 2008 and got married on April 17, 2009. The couple has two children, a son and a daughter. They now live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Andy Roddick even made a small appearance in Brooklyn's 2011 movie Just Go with It.
In her free time, Brooklyn Decker is a Global Ambassador for Special Olympics. This means she helps support and promote the Special Olympics, which provides sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
