History of Broomall
Broomall was named after John Martin Broomall. He was an important person in the 1800s. John Martin Broomall served as a U.S. congressman. He also helped choose the president in 1872.
Broomall is home to the Drummond Scientific Company. This company makes special tools for science labs. In 1972, they created the Pipet-Aid. This tool made it easier and more accurate to measure liquids in labs.
