A special version of Cartoon Network launched in Switzerland on February 26, 2007. In Switzerland, this channel is free on all TV providers. It is also the most popular kids' channel there.
Adult Swim: For Older Viewers
Adult Swim was a special block of shows on Cartoon Network Switzerland. It aired every night from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. between 2011 and 2015. This block showed programs like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken. These shows were in English with French subtitles. They were made for older teens and adults.
In the early 2000s, there was another late-night block called "Dézaxé." It showed random Cartoon Network shows and old commercials.
Adult Swim later came back as a block on the Toonami channel in France. This happened on July 24, 2019.

Boomerang started as a block on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s. It showed cartoons for younger children. On April 23, 2003, Boomerang became its own TV channel.

Toonami was a block on Cartoon Network that started in 2002. It focused on action-packed shows. Later, Toonami became its own TV channel. It launched on February 11, 2016.
