Celina Jade (born Celina Horan on June 10, 1985) is a talented actress, singer, and model. She is from both Hong Kong and the United States. Celina is also a skilled martial artist.
She is well-known around the world for playing Shado in the TV show Arrow. In China, she is famous for her role in the big movie Wolf Warrior 2. This film is one of the highest-grossing Chinese movies ever made.

Early Life and Education
Celina Jade was born in Hong Kong. Her father, Roy Horan, was an American kung fu star. Her mother, Christina Hui, was Chinese. Celina went to a local Chinese school from kindergarten through high school. She can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English very well.
Growing up, her father taught her archery, shooting, and Taekwondo. When she was 14, she moved to New Jersey for a short time. She soon returned to Hong Kong and attended Island School. Later, she studied at the London School of Economics. She graduated at the top of her class with excellent grades in Management.

Acting Journey
Celina's acting career began in Hong Kong and China in 2007. Her first main role was in the film Legendary Assassin with Wu Jing. She also appeared in Chinese movies like Love Connected and All's Well Ends Well. She was often seen on TV shows across China.
In 2012, she got her first role in a US film, The Man with the Iron Fists. This movie was directed by the RZA and starred Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. That same year, she voiced a character named Not Ping in the video game Sleeping Dogs.
Later in 2012, Celina was chosen for the TV series Arrow. She played Shado, a martial arts teacher. She appeared in many episodes over several seasons. In 2015, Celina starred with action stars Tony Jaa and Dolph Lundgren in the movie Skin Trade.
In 2016, Celina worked with Wu Jing again in Wolf Warrior 2. This film became a huge success worldwide. It was one of the highest-grossing films of 2017. It is also the only non-Hollywood film to be among the top 100 highest-grossing films globally.
Music Path
When Celina was 14, she won a singing competition across Asia. This led to a record deal with Japanese producer Tetsuya Komuro. They released two EPs (extended plays). In July 2000, she performed for President Bill Clinton and other world leaders in Japan.
At 15, her song "Kwong Ying Zi Gan" became a number-one hit in Taiwan. She has also been featured in many advertisements for big brands. In 2007, Celina signed with music manager Paco Wong. She sang the theme song for Legendary Assassin, which was popular on TV and radio.
In 2009, she signed with Nettwerk Music Group, a company known for artists like Avril Lavigne. In 2011, Celina wrote and sang the song "Xun Zhao (The Find)". In 2012, she released her own album called Celina. In 2014, her duet "迷彩 Fighting For" reached number one on a TV chart and won an award.
Helping Others
Celina Jade is very active in charity work. In 2014 and 2015, she supported Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre in Hong Kong. She performed at events to help raise money for them.

She supports Room to Read, which focuses on girls' education and children's reading in Asia and Africa. Celina also helps the Elephant Society to stop illegal wildlife trade. Personal Life
Celina Jade is a vegetarian. She meditates daily and believes in healthy eating to help fight climate change. After a serious burn accident in 2012, she became a vegetarian. In 2016, she helped open a plant-based restaurant in Hong Kong called HOME - Eat to Live. The restaurant aimed to promote healthy and sustainable living. It closed in 2017.
Since February 2018, Celina has been in a relationship with Han Geng. He is a Chinese actor and singer. They got married on December 31, 2019, in New Zealand. In September 2022, Celina and Han Geng welcomed their first child, a daughter.
