Celina Jade (born Celina Horan; 10 June 1985) is an actress, singer, and model. She is from Hong Kong and America. Celina is also a skilled martial artist.
She is famous around the world for playing Shado in the TV show Arrow. In China, she is best known for her role in the hit movie Wolf Warrior 2. This film is one of the highest-grossing Chinese movies ever made.

Early Life and Education
Celina Jade was born in Hong Kong. Her father, Roy Horan, was an American kung fu star. Her mother, Christina Hui, was Chinese. Celina went to a local Chinese school from kindergarten through high school.
She can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English very well. Growing up, she learned archery, shooting, and Taekwondo from her father. When she was 14, she moved to New Jersey for a short time. She later studied at the London School of Economics and graduated with top honors.

Celina Jade started her acting career in Hong Kong and China in 2007. Her first main role was in the film Legendary Assassin. She also appeared in other Chinese films and TV shows.
In 2012, she got her first role in a US movie called The Man with the Iron Fists. It was directed by the RZA. That same year, she voiced a character named Not Ping in the video game Sleeping Dogs.
Later in 2012, Celina was cast in the TV series Arrow. She played Shado, a martial arts teacher. She was in many episodes over several seasons. In 2015, she starred in the movie Skin Trade.
In 2016, Celina Jade joined the cast of Wolf Warrior 2. This movie became a huge success worldwide. It was one of the highest-grossing films of 2017. It was also the first non-Hollywood film to be among the top 100 highest-grossing films globally.
Music Journey
When Celina was 14, she won a singing competition across Asia. This led to a music deal with a Japanese producer. They released two EPs (extended plays). In 2000, she performed for President Bill Clinton at a big meeting in Japan.
At 15, her song "Kwong Ying Zi Gan" became a number-one hit in Taiwan. She also appeared in many advertisements for big brands. In 2007, she signed with a music company called Gold Typhoon. She sang the theme song for Legendary Assassin.
Celina later signed with Nettwerk Music Group. In 2011, she wrote and sang a Mandarin song called "Xun Zhao (The Find)". In 2012, she released her own album, Celina. She also had a number-one duet song called "迷彩 Fighting For" in 2014.
Helping Others
Celina Jade supports many charities and good causes. In 2014 and 2015, she helped Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre in Hong Kong. She performed to raise money for them.
She also supports groups like Filmaid, which uses movies to help people. She works with Room to Read, which helps girls get an education. Other causes she supports include protecting elephants and fighting hunger. She also helps with HIV/AIDS research and building ties between Asia and the West.
Personal Life
Celina Jade is a vegetarian. She meditates daily and believes in healthy eating. She thinks this can help fight climate change. After a serious burn accident in 2012, she became a vegetarian. In 2016, she helped open a plant-based restaurant in Hong Kong. It was called HOME - Eat to Live. The restaurant aimed to promote healthy and sustainable living. It closed in 2017.
Since 2018, Celina has been in a relationship with Han Geng. He is a Chinese actor and singer. They got married on December 31, 2019, in New Zealand. In September 2022, Celina and Han Geng welcomed their first child, a daughter.
