Christopher Chace Crawford (born July 18, 1985) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Nate Archibald in the TV show Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012. He also plays Kevin Moskowitz / The Deep in the popular series The Boys (2019–present) and other shows in that world.
Chace Crawford has also starred in several movies. These include The Covenant (2006), The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008), Twelve (2011), and What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012). In 2015, he played Billy LeFever in the TV series Blood & Oil.

Chace Crawford's Early Life
Chace Crawford was born in Lubbock, Texas. His father, Chris, is a skin doctor (dermatologist). His mother, Dana, works as a teacher. He has a younger sister named Candice Crawford. She used to be a beauty pageant winner, including Miss Missouri USA.
When Chace was young, his family lived in Bloomington, Minnesota, for four years. He went to Ridgeview Elementary School there. After his father finished his medical training, the family moved back to Texas. They settled in Plano, which is a town near Dallas.
High School and College Years
During his high school years, Chace worked at an Abercrombie & Fitch clothing store. He also did some modeling for Hollister. He finished high school at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas, in 2003.
After high school, Crawford went to Pepperdine University. He studied broadcast journalism and marketing. However, he decided to leave college after a few semesters. He wanted to focus completely on becoming an actor. To earn money during this time, he worked for a while parking cars.
Chace Crawford's Acting Career
Starting Out: Gossip Girl Years (2006-2012)
Chace Crawford's first movie role was in 2006. He played Tyler Simms in the horror film The Covenant. In March 2007, he got a big role as Nate Archibald. This was for The CW's popular teen drama series Gossip Girl. This was his first major TV role.
In 2008, Crawford also appeared in the movie Loaded. He then played the main character in the horror film The Haunting of Molly Hartley. The next year, he was in a music video for singer Leona Lewis. He played her boyfriend in the video for her song "I Will Be".
Chace also helped with a public service announcement for Do Something's Teens for Jeans campaign. In 2010, he starred in the movie Twelve. This film was based on a book by Nick McDonell. It first showed at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. He was almost cast in the movie remake of Footloose. He even started practicing for the role, but later left the project.
In 2011, Crawford acted in the movie Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. He starred alongside famous actresses Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener. He played a butcher named Cole who was against war. His character became a love interest for one of the main characters.

In 2016, Crawford played Arthur Barone in the sports comedy-drama Undrafted. This movie was based on a true story about a promising young baseball player. He also had a small role in the film Rules Don't Apply.

Chace Crawford's Personal Life
When Gossip Girl first started in 2007, Chace Crawford shared an apartment with his co-star Ed Westwick. They lived in Chelsea, Manhattan. In July 2009, Crawford moved out and rented an apartment in the Wall Street area.
Chace Crawford's brother-in-law is Tony Romo. Tony Romo is a famous former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys football team. Chace Crawford also practices a type of meditation called Transcendental Meditation.
