Chang Myun (Korean: 장면, born August 28, 1899 – died June 4, 1966) was an important political leader in South Korea. He served as the country's Prime Minister twice and as the Vice President. His nickname was Unsuk (Korean: 운석).
Chang Myun was a special representative to the Vatican in 1948. In 1949, he became South Korea's ambassador to the United States. He first became Prime Minister in May 1950. From 1956 to 1960, he was the 4th Vice President. He became Prime Minister again in August 1960. However, on May 16, 1961, he was removed from power by a military takeover led by Park Chung Hee.

Early Life and Education
Chang Myun was born in Incheon in 1899. He grew up in a Catholic family. After finishing high school, he went to the United States to study. When he returned to Korea, he started working as an educator. He was a teacher and later the principal at Dongseong High School. He also served as the principal of Geseong Elementary School.
Entering Politics and Public Service
After Korea gained independence on August 15, 1945, Chang Myun decided to enter politics. In October 1948, he was sent to the United Nations to represent South Korea. Later, in December 1948, he became a special ambassador to the Vatican. He then served as South Korea's ambassador to the United States.
Chang Myun became the Prime Minister of South Korea for the first time on November 23, 1950. He held this position until April 23, 1952. He later became the Vice President and then Prime Minister again, playing a key role in the early years of South Korea's government.
