Coastal Credit Union Music Park is a super cool outdoor concert spot in Raleigh, North Carolina. It's also known by its original name, Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. This huge place is specially designed for big music shows and events.
The park is part of a large area, about 77 acres, located near Walnut Creek in southeast Raleigh. It's easy to get to, being close to major highways.
The City of Raleigh built this amazing venue with help from private companies. It cost about $13.5 million and first opened its doors on July 4, 1991. The very first band to play there was the Connells.
This amphitheater can hold a lot of people! About 6,847 seats are under a roof, keeping concert-goers dry. Plus, there's a huge open lawn area that can fit another 13,653 people, bringing the total capacity to over 20,000!
Today, a company called Live Nation Entertainment runs the venue. They are a big name in the music world and help bring many popular artists to perform here.
