Concord is a town located in Erie County, New York, United States. In 2010, about 8,494 people lived there. Many early settlers came from New England. They likely named the town after Concord, Massachusetts.

Concord is found on the southeastern edge of Erie County. Its main community is the village of Springville. Concord is also known as one of the "Southtowns" of Erie County.

History of Concord, New York

Concord was first settled around 1807. It officially became a town in 1812. It was formed from a larger, older town called Willink. When it was first created, Concord covered a very large area. Over time, parts of Concord were used to create other towns. These new towns included Collins, North Collins, and Sardinia.
