Corminboeuf is a town in Switzerland. It is a municipality in the Sarine district. This area is part of the canton of Fribourg. In 2017, another town called Chésopelloz joined with Corminboeuf.

History of Corminboeuf
Corminboeuf was first written about in the year 1142. Back then, it was called Cormenbo. Later, in the 1400s and 1500s, people knew it as Sankt Görg or St Georg.
Geography of Corminboeuf
After the merger in 2017, Corminboeuf covers an area of about 5.62 square kilometers. A big part of this land, about 51.8%, is used for farming. Forests cover about 33.3% of the area. The remaining 14.9% is where buildings and roads are located.
Over the years, the amount of land with buildings has grown. More homes and businesses have been built. The town is located in the Sarine district.
