Avry (Arpitan: Avri) is a town in Switzerland. It is located in the Fribourg area, also called a canton. Avry is part of the Sarine district. This town was formed on January 1, 2001. It was created when two smaller towns, Avry-sur-Matran and Corjolens, joined together.

Avry covers an area of about 5.8 square kilometers (2.2 square miles). A large part of this land, about 72%, is used for farming. This means people grow crops or keep animals there.

About 11.5% of Avry's land is covered by forests. The remaining 15.8% is built up. This includes buildings like houses and shops, as well as roads. A very small part, about 0.2%, is land that cannot be used for anything.
