Prez-vers-Noréaz was a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Sarine district within the Fribourg area. On January 1, 2020, Prez-vers-Noréaz joined with two other towns, Corserey and Noréaz. Together, they formed a new, larger town called Prez.

A Look Back: History of Prez-vers-Noréaz
Prez-vers-Noréaz has a long history. It was first written about in the year 1156. Back then, it was known by the name de Pratellis.

In 2009, Prez-vers-Noréaz covered an area of about 5.7 square kilometers (2.2 square miles). A large part of this land, about 72.5%, was used for farming. Forests covered another 19% of the area.
