DR Movie is a South Korean company that makes awesome animated shows and movies! It started in Seoul, South Korea, way back in 1990. They often work with Japanese companies on popular anime series.
Since 1991, DR Movie has had a special partnership with a Japanese animation studio called Madhouse. Madhouse even became a part-owner in 2001. Later, in 2006, Madhouse's parent company invested a lot of money to help DR Movie grow. DR Movie has helped animate many Madhouse anime, like Tenjho Tenge (from 2004) and Claymore (from 2007). They also work with Chinese animation companies, even opening a joint studio in Qingdao, China, in 2007.
DR Movie has also teamed up with many other famous studios. These include Nickelodeon, Sunrise, Warner Bros. Animation, Gonzo, and Studio Ghibli. It's pretty cool because DR Movie is the only Korean studio that has worked with the amazing Studio Ghibli!
DR Movie also has another production place in Busan, South Korea. It's called Busan DR.
