Danilo Gabriel de Andrade (born 11 June 1979), known simply as Danilo, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped create goals from the middle of the field.
Danilo had an amazing 20-year career, playing in over 450 matches! He is best known for his time with two big Brazilian clubs: São Paulo and Corinthians. During his career, he won the Copa Libertadores twice and the FIFA Club World Cup twice. He also won the Brazilian league four times.
Many football experts believe Danilo is the greatest player who was never called to play for the Brazil national team. He was famous for his great skills, how well he saw the game, and his ability to score goals. Because of his talent, fans nicknamed him Zidanilo, after the legendary French player Zinedine Zidane.

Danilo's Coaching Career
After a long playing career, Danilo started coaching. In January 2021, he became the coach for Corinthians' Under-23 team. This team helps young players get ready for professional football.
The next year, on January 31, 2022, he moved to coach the Under-20 team at Corinthians. This is another important step for young players. In April 2023, Danilo even got to be the temporary head coach for the main Corinthians team for a short time.
