Danilo Gabriel de Andrade (born on June 11, 1979), known simply as Danilo, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He played as an attacking midfielder, which means he helped create goals for his team.
Danilo played football for 20 years, appearing in over 450 games. He is most famous for playing with São Paulo and Corinthians. During his career, he won many important titles. These include the Copa Libertadores and the FIFA Club World Cup twice each. He also won the Brazilian league four times.
Many football experts believe Danilo is one of the greatest players who never played for the Brazil national team. He was known for his amazing skills, how well he saw the game, and his ability to score goals. Because of his talent, fans gave him the nickname Zidanilo, comparing him to the famous French player Zinedine Zidane.

Coaching Career
After a long playing career, Danilo decided to become a football coach. In January 2021, he started coaching the Under-23 team for Corinthians. This is a team for players who are usually between 19 and 23 years old.
The next year, on January 31, 2022, he became the coach for Corinthians' Under-20 team. This team is for younger players, usually under 20 years old. He helped these young players develop their skills.
In April 2023, Danilo briefly took charge of the main Corinthians team. He was the interim head coach, meaning he led the team temporarily after the previous coach left.
