Danny Jacobs is an American actor and comedian. He is well-known for his voice acting roles. His first voice acting job was in 1999 in the movie Full Blast. He became famous for voicing King Julien, a fun lemur character. He took over the role from Sacha Baron Cohen in The Penguins of Madagascar (2008–2015). He also voiced King Julien in special movies like Merry Madagascar (2009) and Madly Madagascar (2013). Later, he continued as King Julien in the series All Hail King Julien (2014–2017).
Besides King Julien, Danny Jacobs has voiced many other characters. He was Rowdy Remington in Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil (2010–2012). He also voiced characters in superhero games and shows. These include Victor Zsasz in Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) and Batman: Arkham City (2011). He was Special Agent Porter in Justice League: Doom (2012). In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), he voiced Snake / Snakeweed. He also voiced Grifter and Captain Cold in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013). Later, he voiced Baron Mordo in Ultimate Spider-Man (2016) and Heinrich Zemo in Avengers Assemble (2016).

Danny Jacobs' Early Life
Danny Jacobs grew up in a Catholic family with Lebanese roots. When he was young, he dreamed of becoming an NBA basketball player. He went to Bishop Gallagher High School in Harper Woods, Michigan. There, he became interested in acting after watching a play called West Side Story. He then acted in school plays like Grease and The Wiz.
He studied at Wayne State University and later at the University of Arizona. He majored in musical theater. His cousin, who was in the Broadway show Les Misérables, also inspired him. After college, he moved to Los Angeles. He started doing voice-overs for commercials. Soon, he began voice acting for animated shows.
In 2015, Danny Jacobs visited Kids Kicking Cancer. He used his King Julien voice to entertain the children there.

Danny Jacobs started his acting career in theater. In 1993, he played Chico Fernández in a play called The Vast Difference. He won awards in Michigan, Florida, and Wisconsin for his acting in the play "Beast on the Moon" between 1996 and 1997.
In 1999, he got his first voice role as Curt in Full Blast. He also did background voices for Futurama. That same year, he appeared in his first live-action role in Get the Hell Out of Hamtown. From 2000 to 2002, he helped manage the Gem and Century Theatres in Detroit.
In the movie Epic Movie (2007), Danny Jacobs played Borat Sagdiyev. He also had a small role as a Pirate. He did a great job sounding like Sacha Baron Cohen, who originally played Borat.
Danny Jacobs became the voice of King Julien in The Penguins of Madagascar. He sounded very much like Sacha Baron Cohen. He also did other voices for the show. In 2011, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for his work as King Julien. He continued to voice King Julien in Merry Madagascar (2009) and Madly Madagascar (2013).
