Fighting in the UFC
Davi Ramos joined the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in March 2017. The UFC is one of the biggest stages for MMA fighters.
- First UFC Fight: His first fight was against Sérgio Moraes. Davi fought hard but lost this match by a decision from the judges.
- First UFC Win: In December 2017, Davi faced Chris Gruetzemacher. He won this fight using a move called a "rear-naked choke" in the third round. This is a special grappling move that makes an opponent give up.
- More Wins: Davi continued his winning streak in the UFC. He defeated Nick Hein in May 2018 and John Gunther in November 2018, both by rear-naked choke.
- Decision Victory: In May 2019, he won another fight against Austin Hubbard by a unanimous decision, meaning all the judges agreed he won.
