Delio César Toledo Rodas (born October 2, 1976) is a retired footballer from Paraguay. He played as a left back, which is a defensive position on the side of the field.
Throughout his career, Delio Toledo played for football clubs in five different countries. He spent a lot of his time playing in La Liga, which is Spain's top football league. He also proudly represented his home country, Paraguay, in big tournaments like the 1999 Copa América and the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Delio Toledo's Club Career
Delio Toledo was born in Doctor Cecilio Báez, a town in the Caaguazú Department of Paraguay. He began his football journey at Club Atlético Colegiales. After playing well there, he moved to another Paraguayan club, Cerro Porteño.
Playing in Europe
Toledo then moved to Europe to play football. He had a short time with Udinese Calcio in Italy from January to December 1999. After that, he joined RCD Espanyol in Spain, playing there from January 2000 to June 2001.
Return to South America and Spain
After his time in Europe, Delio Toledo briefly returned to South America. He played for Colón de Santa Fe in Argentina. Soon after, he went back to Spain to play for Real Zaragoza. At that time, Zaragoza was in the Segunda División, which is Spain's second division league.
He helped Real Zaragoza get promoted to the top league, La Liga, during the 2002–03 season. He scored one goal in 31 games that season. He continued to be a regular player for Zaragoza for the next three years in La Liga.
Time in Turkey
In July 2006, Toledo moved to Turkey to play for Kayserispor. In his second year with the team, during the 2007–08 season, he helped Kayserispor win the Turkish Cup, a major domestic trophy.
He decided to retire from football in early 2010 due to an injury. However, he returned to play for Kayserispor again on March 29, in a match against Trabzonspor.
Delio Toledo's International Career
Delio Toledo played for the Paraguay national team 35 times. He played 82 minutes in a group stage match against England at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which Paraguay lost 0–1.
He was also part of the Paraguayan squad for the 1999 Copa América. This tournament was held in Paraguay, and the national team reached the quarterfinals.
First International Goal
Toledo played his first international game on March 7, 1999, in a tournament called the Copa de la Paz. He scored the second goal in a 3–0 win against Bolivia.
