In 2020, about 8,930 people lived in Edgewater Park. The population has grown a little over the years. Edgewater Park became an official township on February 26, 1924. It was named "Edgewater Park" because it sits along the edge of the Delaware River.

The township shares its borders with several other towns in Burlington County. These include Beverly, Burlington Township, Delanco Township, and Willingboro Township. Across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, it's also close to Bensalem Township and Bristol Township.

Schools in Edgewater Park
The Edgewater Park School District is in charge of public schools for younger students. Kids in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade go to schools within this district.
There are two schools in the district:
- Mildred Magowan Elementary School: This school teaches students from pre-kindergarten to 4th grade.
- Samuel M. Ridgway Middle School: This school is for students in 5th through 8th grade.
After eighth grade, students from Edgewater Park attend Burlington City High School in Burlington. This is part of a special agreement where Edgewater Park students go to high school in a neighboring town. Almost 40% of the students at Burlington City High School are from Edgewater Park.

Main Roads
U.S. Route 130 is the most important highway that goes through Edgewater Park. It runs along the edge of the township, next to Willingboro Township. Another road, County Route 543, also passes through the town, close to the Delaware River.
Public Transportation

- The 409 bus route connects Edgewater Park to Trenton and Philadelphia.
- The 419 bus route goes between Camden and Burlington.
There's also a local bus service called BurLink. The B2 route travels between Beverly and Westampton Township.
