Where is Edgewood Located?

Edgewood is in the southwestern part of Harford County. It has many natural borders. To the west, it meets Baltimore County and Joppatowne. To the north, you'll find Bel Air South. The Bush River, which is part of the Chesapeake Bay, is to the east. To the south, it borders the Edgewood Arsenal part of Aberdeen Proving Ground. The Gunpowder River, another arm of the Chesapeake Bay, is to the southwest.

How to Get Around Edgewood?

Major roads make it easy to travel in and out of Edgewood. Interstate 95 runs along its northern edge. You can get on I-95 from Exit 74 (Maryland Route 152) and Exit 77 (Maryland Route 24). I-95 goes southwest about 25 miles to Baltimore. It also goes northeast about 50 miles to Wilmington, Delaware.

U.S. Route 40 (Pulaski Highway) also crosses the northern part of Edgewood. It runs parallel to I-95. US 40 goes southwest about 9 miles to White Marsh. It goes northeast the same distance to Aberdeen. Maryland Route 24 starts near Aberdeen Proving Ground in the south. It leads about 10 miles north to Bel Air, which is the county seat of Harford County.
