Ellenborough is a small village in Australia. It sits right on the Oxley Highway and next to the Ellenborough River. This river joins the Hastings River nearby. The village is about 38 kilometers west of Wauchope. It is also about 130 kilometers east of Walcha. Ellenborough is part of the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council area.

A famous explorer named John Oxley gave Ellenborough its name. He named it after Edward Law, 1st Baron Ellenborough, who was an important judge in England a long time ago.
