Essert-Pittet (French pronunciation: [ɛsɛʁ pitɛ]) is a small village in Switzerland. It used to be its own town, called a municipality, in the Vaud area. But in 2017, Essert-Pittet joined with another town called Chavornay. So now, it's part of Chavornay. It's located in the Jura-Nord Vaudois district.

Essert-Pittet has a long history! It was first mentioned way back in the year 1100. Back then, it was called Exertus. Later, in 1453, people knew it as Essers. The name Essert-Pittet became common before 1764.

The village used to be part of the Yverdon District. But that district was changed in 2006. Essert-Pittet then became part of the new Jura-Nord Vaudois district.
