Ethelton is a suburb located in the north-western part of Adelaide, South Australia. It's about 13 kilometers away from the center of Adelaide. This area is on the Lefevre Peninsula, which is a piece of land surrounded by water on three sides.
Ethelton is mainly a place where people live. It is part of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, which is a local government area. It sits next to other suburbs like Semaphore, Semaphore South, Glanville, and New Port.

Schools in Ethelton
There isn't a public primary school right in Ethelton. Kids usually go to Le Fevre Primary School in Birkenhead or Westport Primary School in Semaphore Park. There used to be an Ethelton Primary School, but it joined with Semaphore Primary to become Westport Primary.
For older students, Le Fevre High School is nearby in Semaphore South. There is also a private school in Ethelton called Portside Christian School. It teaches students from the first year of school all the way to Year 12.
Parks and Shops
The main place for fun and sports in Ethelton is the John Hart Reserve and Oval. It's located in the north-western part of the suburb.
You won't find many big shops in Ethelton itself. This is because the larger shopping areas of Port Adelaide are very close by.
New Port Development
Next to Ethelton, there's a newer area called New Port. This is a housing development that was created in 2007. It's located right on the Port River.
