Today, Fazer is a big company with over 6,000 employees. They work in countries like Finland, Sweden, and Poland. Fazer's products are also sent to more than 40 countries around the world.
Discovering Fazer's Journey
How Fazer Grew Over Time
Fazer has grown a lot by joining with or buying other companies. In 1975, Fazer bought a Swedish candy company called Mazetti. This brought popular treats like Dumle and Tutti Frutti to Fazer.
Later, Fazer joined with a Swedish competitor called Cloetta in 2000. They became Cloetta Fazer. But after eight years, in 2008, they decided to become separate companies again. Fazer also bought back some of its own biscuit brands, like Domino and Jaffa, in 2012. These brands are now part of Fazer Confectionery.
A Special Place to Visit

In November 2016, Fazer opened a special Visitor Centre. It's located at their chocolate factory in Vantaa, Finland. The building is very modern and shaped like two circles. One circle even has a beautiful garden inside!
At the Visitor Centre, you can learn how Fazer makes its products. There's also a café where you can enjoy treats. You can also visit a shop to buy your favorite Fazer goodies.
New Directions for Fazer
In 2019, Fazer bought a Finnish company called Kaslink Foods. This company makes plant-based foods, especially oat products. Fazer wanted to focus more on these kinds of healthy products for people to buy. Around the same time, Fazer sold its restaurant business. This was part of their plan to focus even more on making food products for stores.
After some big global events in 2022, Fazer also sold its business in Russia.
