Fazer's Story

Fazer has grown a lot over the years. In 1975, Fazer bought a Swedish candy company called Mazetti. This brought popular products like Dumle and Tutti Frutti to Fazer.

Fazer also worked with another company, United Biscuits, for its biscuit business. Later, Fazer bought back its biscuit brands like Domino and Jaffa.

The company has also bought other businesses. These include the Finnish company Chymos and the Danish company Perelly. For a while, Fazer's candy part joined with a Swedish company called Cloetta. They became Cloetta Fazer in 2000. But in 2008, they split up again.

In 2019, Fazer bought Kaslink Foods. This Finnish company makes plant-based foods. Fazer wanted to focus more on products for everyday consumers. They saw a lot of potential in oat-based products from Kaslink. Around the same time, Fazer sold its restaurant business. This was part of their plan to focus on consumer products.

After some big changes in 2022, Fazer sold its business in Russia.
