The Good Food & Wine Show is Australia's biggest event for people who love food and drinks! It's like a giant festival where you can explore amazing Australian food and discover new ways to pair different foods and drinks. You can also see famous chefs cook live on stage.
This exciting event happens every year in major Australian cities. These cities include Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane.

History of the Show
How the Show Started
The very first Good Food & Wine Show took place in Melbourne in 2001. It was a big hit right away! About 130 different food and drink companies showed off their products. A super famous chef, Jamie Oliver, was the main star of the show. Over 38,000 people visited the event during its three days.
Expanding to Other Cities
In 2002, the show expanded to Sydney at Sydney Olympic Park. It was so popular that it later moved to a bigger place, the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. However, due to new construction, the show moved back to Sydney Olympic Park again.
The Good Food & Wine Show kept growing! In 2005, it came to Brisbane for the first time. Then, in 2008, the first show in Perth was held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. The city of Adelaide also hosted its first event in 2010.
Famous Chefs at the Show
Many well-known chefs have appeared at the Good Food & Wine Show over the years. These include international stars like Gordon Ramsay and Ainsley Harriott. Australian favorites like Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris, Manu Feildel, Kylie Kwong, Bill Granger, and Matt Moran have also shared their cooking secrets.
In 2014, some of the celebrity chefs who attended included Adriano Zumbo, Matt Moran, George Calombaris, Antonio Carluccio, and Maggie Beer. They all helped make the show a fantastic experience for visitors.
