Haleburg is a small town located in Henry County, Alabama, in the United States. It's part of the larger Dothan area. In 2020, about 112 people lived there.
The town was first started in 1885 and was called "Halesburgh". Later, in September 1911, it officially became a town and was named "Halesburg". Over time, for reasons we don't know, its name changed to the "Haleburg" we know today.
Where is Haleburg?
Haleburg is located in the southeastern part of Henry County. You can find it at these coordinates: 31°24′32″N 85°8′10″W / 31.40889°N 85.13611°W.
Alabama State Route 95 goes right through the town. This road can take you about 14 miles north to Abbeville or about 8 miles south to Columbia. Haleburg is also close to the Chattahoochee River, which is about 4 miles to the west. This river forms the border between Alabama and Georgia.
The U.S. Census Bureau says that Haleburg covers a total area of about 9.9 square kilometers (or 3.8 square miles). All of this area is land, meaning there are no large bodies of water like lakes or big rivers within the town limits.

- Curley Money: He was a rockabilly musician. His music was so important that he was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2003.
