Hannah Einbinder (born May 21, 1995) is an American actress and stand-up comedian. She is well-known for her main role as Ava Daniels in the HBO Max comedy show Hacks. For her work on the show, she received a Primetime Emmy Award and a Critics' Choice Television Award. She also earned three Golden Globe Award nominations.

Her Early Life and Education
Hannah Einbinder was born on May 21, 1995. Her mother is Laraine Newman, a famous cast member from Saturday Night Live. Her father is writer and director Chad Einbinder. Hannah grew up in Los Angeles, California. Her family is Jewish.
When she was a teenager, Hannah was a competitive cheerleader. She went to Beverly Hills High School. Later, she studied at Chapman University. There, she earned a degree in television writing and production. At Chapman, Hannah joined the school's improv team. She first tried stand-up comedy when she opened a show for Nicole Byer.

Stand-Up Comedy Beginnings
In 2019, Hannah Einbinder performed at the Just for Laughs festival. She was featured in their "New Faces" showcase. National Public Radio named her one of the top 10 comedians to watch. Vulture magazine also recognized her. They called her one of the best new comedians. They praised her unique and funny style.
In March 2020, Hannah made her first national TV appearance. She performed stand-up comedy on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. At that time, she was the youngest person to do a stand-up set on the show. This was the show's last live stand-up performance for a long time.
