Helene Fischer (born on August 5, 1984) is a famous German schlager singer. Schlager is a popular style of music in Germany. Since she started her career in 2005, Helene has won many awards. These include 17 Echo awards and three Bambi awards.

She has sold over 18 million records worldwide. In 2014, her album Farbenspiel became the most downloaded album by a German artist ever. It is now the sixth-best-selling album in Germany. Her hit song "Atemlos durch die Nacht" was the top-selling song in Germany in 2014. Helene Fischer has had the best-selling album of the year in Germany five times. Early Life and Career Beginnings

Helene Fischer was born in Krasnoyarsk, a city in Siberia, which was part of the Soviet Union. Her parents were Pyotr and Marina Fischer. Her father was a physical education teacher. Her mother worked as an engineer. Her grandparents were Black Sea Germans. They were sent to live in places like Kazakhstan and Siberia.

In 1988, when Helene was three years old, her family moved to Wöllstein, West Germany. After finishing high school, Helene studied singing and acting for three years. She attended the Frankfurt Stage & Musical School. During her studies, she performed on stage at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Volkstheater Frankfurt.

Helene Fischer first performed on TV on May 14, 2005. She sang a duet with schlager singer Florian Silbereisen on the TV channel ARD. They later became a couple.

Personal Life

From May 2008, Helene Fischer was in a relationship with Florian Silbereisen. They were seen as a "dream couple" in German pop music. In December 2018, they announced they had separated but remained friends. Helene later shared that her new partner was Thomas Seitel. He is an aerial acrobat who works with her on her stage shows.
