Jason Jermane Sasser (born January 13, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a skilled small forward, standing 6 feet 7 inches (201 cm) tall. Jason played college basketball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He also played in the NBA and for many teams around the world.

Jason represented the US national team. He helped the team win a bronze medal at the 1998 FIBA World Championship.

Early Life and College Career

Jason Sasser grew up in Denton, Texas. He went to Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas. After high school, he played college basketball. He joined the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 1992 to 1996.

College Achievements

Jason was a star player in college. In 1996, he was named the Southwest Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year. He was also chosen as a Third-team All-American. This shows he was one of the best college players in the country.
