Josep Maria Subirachs i Sitjar (born March 11, 1927 – died April 7, 2014) was a famous Spanish sculptor and painter. He lived in the late 1900s. His most well-known artwork is probably the Passion Façade of the Sagrada Família church in Barcelona. This part of the church was a bit controversial. Subirachs chose a very different style from the original architect, Antoni Gaudí.
Subirachs also created special lettering designs in Barcelona. These designs were even shown in Eye magazine.
