Josh Osho is a talented English singer and songwriter from South London. He was once signed to a well-known music company called Island Records.

Early life and musical start
Josh Osho grew up in South London. His father was born in Nigeria, and his mother has both Irish and Nigerian roots. He went to Graveney School in Tooting, where he was good at English and loved playing football.
Josh started writing songs when he was young. He began learning guitar after one of his mother's friends gave away an old one. He also grew up in a religious family and went to church with his mother twice a week.
Music career highlights
Josh Osho's musical talent quickly caught the attention of Island Records. He signed with them in mid-2011.
His first song, "Redemption Days", came out on September 4, 2011. It featured the famous artist Ghostface Killah. In December 2011, Josh performed a beautiful acoustic version of Adele's song "Someone like You" for SB.TV.
In early 2012, Josh went on tour with the group Rizzle Kicks, performing as their opening act. In April 2012, while touring with Emeli Sandé, he released his next song, "Giants". This song featured Childish Gambino. Josh also performed an acoustic version of "Giants" for T4's Freshly Squeezed.
After performing "Redemption Days" on the TV show Later... with Jools Holland in May 2012, more people started noticing Josh's music. His song "Redemption Days" became "Record of the Week" on major radio stations like BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, and BBC Radio 1Xtra.
In June 2012, The Sun newspaper reported that Josh would write a song with the legendary singer Tom Jones. They met backstage at the final of The Voice UK. Josh later confirmed this exciting news on Twitter. On June 15, Josh performed "Redemption Days" and a cover of "Too Close" by Alex Clare on Radio 1's Live Lounge. He also performed "Redemption Days" on the CBBC show Friday Download on June 22.
Josh played his first main concert at the Jazz Café in Camden Town on June 25. The show was completely sold out! This concert happened on the same day his album, L.I.F.E (Learning Is For Ever), was released.
On July 1, 2012, Josh joined Tom Jones on stage at his Hammersmith Apollo concert for a surprise duet. On July 13, Josh opened for Jessie J at her concert at Warwick Castle. Throughout summer 2012, Josh played several concerts in London. He also performed at big music festivals like T4 on the Beach, Wireless Festival, T in the Park, and V Festival.
On September 3, 2012, Josh released a collection of songs called "The John Doe EP". These seven new songs were available for free through Soulculture. Later that week, he joined The Script for four dates on their UK Tour, including a show at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London. On September 21, Josh appeared on the TV show 'BBC Four Sessions with Sir Tom Jones'. He performed a cover of "Black, Brown & White" by Big Bill Broonzy with Tom Jones and his band. In November 2012, Josh toured with Gabrielle Aplin across England and Wales.
In October 2012, The Independent newspaper called him "one to watch," meaning he was an artist to look out for.
On January 13, 2013, Josh Osho's third song, "Imperfections," was added to the main playlist of BBC Radio 2. Josh also planned to direct the music video for this song himself. On February 18, he released the music video for "Even in War" from his "The John Doe EP." In March 2013, Josh Osho began working on new music independently. On March 7, Josh played his first concert of 2013, opening for Ne-Yo at Under the Bridge in London. He is currently planning his second album and a tour.
