Kalenna Harper (born August 13, 1982) is an American singer and songwriter. She is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Many people know her as a member of the music group Diddy – Dirty Money. This group was formed in 2009 with Dawn Richard and Sean Combs.
The group signed with Bad Boy Records. They released their only album, Last Train to Paris, in 2010. This album was very popular and received good reviews. They also released two mixtapes before the group ended in 2012. Before joining the group, Kalenna wrote songs for other R&B artists. From 2014 to 2015, she was also on the reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta on VH1.

Kalenna's Music Journey
Starting as a Songwriter (2004–2008)
Kalenna Harper began her career by writing songs for many other artists. She wrote "Peanut Butter & Jelly" for Christina Milian. She also wrote "Moodswings (To Come at Me Like That)" for Charlotte Church. Other songs she wrote include "Put You Up on Game" for Aretha Franklin. She also wrote "Painted Windows" for the Pussycat Dolls and "Pucker Up" for Ciara.
In 2008, a song called "Kaboom" was shared online. It was a duet between Kalenna Harper and Lady Gaga. They recorded this song before either singer became famous. Kalenna also wrote songs for artists like Maino and Three 6 Mafia. She also wrote for movie soundtracks like "Phat Girls" and "Confessions of a Shopaholic".
Joining Diddy – Dirty Money (2009–2012)
In 2009, Kalenna Harper helped create the group Diddy – Dirty Money. The group included Sean Combs (also known as Diddy) and Dawn Richard. Their first song, "Angels," came out in November 2009. The music video for "Angels" was directed by Hype Williams.
Another song, "Love Come Down," was released the same day. In November 2010, the group had a huge hit with "Coming Home." This song featured Skylar Grey. It reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This success helped their album Last Train To Paris come out sooner. The album was released in December 2010 and reached number seven on the Billboard 200 chart. Music critics generally liked the album.
The group performed at the BET Awards in 2010. They were also nominated for the Best Group award. Kalenna also helped write the song "Bionic" for Christina Aguilera's album of the same name. The group Diddy – Dirty Money broke up in 2012. After that, Kalenna started working on her own music. She released her first solo mixtape, Chamber of Secrets, in June 2012.
Solo Music and Reality TV (2012–2015)
Kalenna released another mixtape called Chamber of Diaries on February 13, 2012. It had thirteen songs and was available for free. The main song from this mixtape was "Go To Work," released in November 2011.
Kalenna was also a regular cast member on the TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She appeared in seasons 3 and 4 of the show. While on the show, Kalenna released her songs "Murder" and "Space and Time" on iTunes.
