Karon Joseph Riley (born August 23, 1978) is an American who used to play gridiron football. He played as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL), Canadian Football League (CFL), and Arena Football League (AFL). After his football career, Riley became a successful television actor and producer.

High School Sports Star
Karon Riley went to Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Michigan. He was a talented athlete, playing football, basketball, and running track and field. In his final year of high school football, he was chosen as an All-City, All-Metro, and All-State player, which means he was one of the best players in his area and state.
Professional Football Career
Karon Riley began his professional football journey when the Chicago Bears picked him in the 4th round of the 2001 NFL draft. This meant he was the 103rd player chosen overall from all the college players that year. He played for the Bears in 2001. Later, he joined the Atlanta Falcons for the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
In 2005, Riley played two games in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts.
He also spent two seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Las Vegas/Cleveland Gladiators from 2007 to 2008. In the AFL, he played both offensive lineman and defensive lineman.
Acting and Producing Career
Since 2010, Karon Riley has appeared in several movies and TV shows. Some of his roles include parts in Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, 35 and Ticking, Last Call, and Mann & Wife. He also appeared in the 2019 movie Little.
In 2019, Riley had a recurring role on the TV show Saints & Sinners. He took over the role of Malik Thompson. Since 2022, Karon Riley has been a main character named Malcolm in the popular series "The Black Hamptons."
Besides acting, Karon Riley is also a film producer. He has helped create two films.
Personal Life
Karon Riley is married to actress Terri J. Vaughn. They welcomed their son, Kal'El Joseph Riley, on April 24, 2008.
