Lacombe County is a special type of local government area called a municipal district. It is located in the middle of Alberta, Canada. Think of it as a large rural area that includes farms and small communities.
The county is part of Census Division No. 8. It sits just north of the City of Red Deer. The main office for Lacombe County is about 4 km (2.5 mi) west of the City of Lacombe. It's also about 6 km (3.7 mi) east of the Summer Village of Gull Lake.
