Laine Hardy was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He grew up in Livingston, Louisiana. His dad, Barry, works in construction. His mom, Cindy Lou, is a real estate agent. Laine has a brother named Kyle and an older sister named Brittany. His grandmother is from Seoul, Korea.
Laine went to French Settlement High School. He graduated in 2018. He started playing the guitar when he was eight years old. By the time he was 14, he was already performing. He played in a band with his brother and cousins. Their band was called Band Hardy. They played in local bars and restaurants. At first, Laine did not sing. His brother encouraged him to start singing.
