Perth City Centre (CBD)
The city centre, often called the CBD (Central Business District), is full of tall buildings and historic sites.
Historic Buildings and Arches
This historic arch is at the western end of St Georges Terrace. It's a symbol of Perth's past because it was once part of a much larger government building. Even though most of the building was removed to build a freeway, the arch was saved. It stands proudly between the Parliament House and the city street.
