Loveyatri: A Journey of Love is a Hindi-language romantic drama film from India, released in 2018. It was produced by Salman Khan and directed by Abhiraj K. Minawala. The movie stars Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain in the main roles. It tells a sweet story about finding love during the exciting festival of Navaratri.

Story of Loveyatri

The film begins with Sushrut "Susu" Pandya, a young man who loves Garba dance. He dreams of opening his own Garba academy. However, his family worries because he doesn't have other big plans for his future.

Meanwhile, in London, Michelle Patel is a very smart college student. Her family tricks her into coming to Vadodara, India, for a visit. They plan to stay for nine days during the Navaratri festival.

Love at First Sight

At a Garba event, Susu sees Michelle and falls in love right away. With advice from his uncle, Rasik Desai, Susu tries to get Michelle's attention. He pretends to be hurt during a Garba dance, hoping she will feel bad for him. Michelle calls him to apologize, and they start spending time together.

Michelle soon realizes Susu's injury was fake. She tells him she already knew because he made a mistake with the bandage. Michelle then shares her dream of reopening her mother's special center that helped women. She also tells Susu her real name is Manisha.

Challenges and Misunderstandings

Michelle's father, Sameer Patel, finds out about Susu and Michelle. He tells Susu to stay away from his daughter, saying they are from different worlds. He also wrongly tells Susu that Michelle is dating someone named Chris.

Michelle gets into a top business school in London and is very happy. She shares the news with Susu and his friends. Susu misunderstands her excitement and thinks she is showing off and cheating on him. He gets upset and says mean things to her. Michelle leaves, feeling hurt.

Later, Susu realizes his mistake and wants to apologize. Michelle is about to fly back to London. Susu and his friends try to reach the airport to stop her, but they have an accident and miss her.

A Journey to London

Ten months pass, and Susu still misses Michelle. He finally gets a chance to go to London when his uncle's Garba group gets a performance contract there. Susu gets his visa and travels to London.

He finds Michelle at a volunteer center where she helps out. He apologizes to her, and they agree to meet again. The next day, Susu hangs out with Michelle and her friends. He meets Chris and mistakenly thinks Chris is Michelle's boyfriend, which makes him sad and jealous.

Susu's uncle encourages him to tell Michelle how he feels. Susu later expresses his love to Michelle on the Tower Bridge in London. He also mentions Chris, still thinking he is her boyfriend.

Truth and Happy Ending

Michelle's father, Sam, again tries to keep Susu and Michelle apart. He even breaks his own car window and blames Susu. Susu is arrested, but two friendly Indian police officers in London, Inspector Jignesh and Inspector Bhavesh, help him.

Michelle talks to her father and learns that he lied about Chris. She tells her father that she loves Susu and wants to follow her dreams. She also reveals that Chris is actually gay and not her boyfriend. Sam finally agrees to their marriage when the police officers threaten to expose his lie about the car window.

In the end, Susu and Michelle return to India. Michelle reopens her mother's center, and Susu opens his own Garba academy. They live happily ever after.
