Tanishk Bagchi (born November 23, 1980) is an Indian music producer, composer, singer, and lyricist. He is well-known for creating and recreating many popular songs in Hindi films. Some of his famous songs include "Vaaste," "Bolna," "Ve Maahi," and recreated versions of "Aankh Maarey" and "Dilbar."

Early Life

Tanishk Bagchi was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His parents, Nand Kumar Bagchi and Sharmistha Dash, were also musicians. He went to the Frank Anthony Public School and later the Scottish Church College in Kolkata.

Music Career

Tanishk Bagchi started his music journey in 2007 with a Bengali album called City Life. He began working as a music producer for films in 2014. His first big break in Bollywood was with the song Banno for the 2015 film Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Before this, he also produced music for TV shows.

In 2018, Tanishk became very famous for recreating old songs. He recreated "Dilbar" for the movie Satyamev Jayate, which got over 20 million views on YouTube in just one day! He also recreated "Aankh Maarey" for Simmba, which became a huge party hit. This song reached over 1 billion views by 2021.

In 2019, he was nominated for a Filmfare Award for his lyrics for the song Ve Maahi from the film Kesari. He also released his own song, "Khud Se Zyada," as a singer-songwriter. In 2021, he composed the official anthem for a game called Fearless And United – Guards, which was released by actor Akshay Kumar.

Tanishk has worked on many film songs, including "Har Funn Maula" for Koi Jaane Na, which featured actors Aamir Khan and Elli AvrRam.
