He later signed with the Washington Redskins in 2016. Harris also played for the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and BC Lions.

Early Life and High School Football

Maurice Harris grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. He went to Northern Guilford High School. There, he played high school football as a wide receiver.

Many colleges wanted him to play for their teams. He chose to go to the University of California. Other colleges that offered him scholarships included Clemson and Duke.

College Football Career

Maurice Harris played college football for the California Golden Bears. He played from 2012 to 2015. During his time in college, he became a strong player.

Maurice had a good college career. He caught 81 passes for 1,004 yards. He also scored 10 touchdowns. His best season was in 2015. That year, he had 40 catches for 553 yards and 6 touchdowns.
