Maurice played college football for the California Golden Bears. After college, he joined the Washington Redskins in 2016. He also played for the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and BC Lions.

Maurice Harris grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. He went to Northern Guilford High School and played high school football there. Maurice was a talented wide receiver. Many colleges wanted him to play for their teams. He chose to go to the University of California, Berkeley. He picked California over other big schools like Clemson and Duke.

Maurice Harris signed with the Washington Redskins in May 2016. He first joined their practice squad. This is a group of players who train with the team. They can be called up to play if needed.

On October 21, 2016, Maurice joined the main team. He got his first NFL catch in November 2016. This was during a game against the Minnesota Vikings. He caught three passes for 28 yards in that game.

New England Patriots

In March 2019, Maurice Harris signed a one-year contract. He joined the New England Patriots. However, he was released from the team in August 2019 due to an injury.

New Orleans Saints

Maurice Harris then signed with the New Orleans Saints in January 2020. This was a "reserve/future" contract. It meant he would join the team later. He was released by the Saints in August 2020.

BC Lions
