About Mauro Maur
Mauro Maur was the main trumpeter for the Orchestra of the Opera House in Rome. He held this important role from 1985 to 2009. He has also appeared on many popular TV and radio shows. He has recorded music for big labels like Sony Columbia. Mauro Maur plays the trumpet, conducts music, and writes songs. He has created music for theater, TV, and movies. Mauro Maur finished his music studies very early in Trieste, Italy. In 1975, he joined the Conservatoire de Paris. There, he continued to improve his skills with Pierre Thibaud. While still a student, he won a spot as the first trumpeter. This was for the Toulouse National Orchestra. He traveled the world with them for different music competitions. At just 18, he was already a sought-after soloist in France. He also studied in Chicago at North Western University.
